fuel injected 22re idle problems

hi guys thanks for reading my post. i recently bought a 1994 toyota pickup with a fuel injected 22re and im having problems with the idle. whats happening is it will idle really high (about 1500 rpms) and when i push on the brakes it drops real low then jumps back up again until i let of the brakes then it goes back to a high idle. i have looked on several forums and they all seem to think it is either a brake booster going bad or a bad throttle postion sensor. i dont have the money to replace both so i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and how they fixed it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked for vacume leaks. Try taking a can of carb cleaner and spray down your vacume hoses while it's running. When the idle starts to race or he motor dies you are close. Then inspect the ara hoses for cracks. Only takes a few bucks to do. Hope this helps.
