Front wheel arches with 33's

Hi, i've recently fitted 2 inch balljoint spacers and a 2 inch body lift to my 2nd gen Hilux Surf ('93 Toyota 4Runner).

I'm running 33inch mud tyres. I'm wondering what other people have done to their front wheel arches in order to accomodate these tyres without any rubbing on full lock when off road?

So far, i've cut away some of the front fender and hammered the pinch welds flat on the rear of the front wheel arches. Is there anything else i should do? Anyone have any pictures?

Thanks.

if just cutting the fender wont allow enough room then you may have to tubb the firewall. or just use a BFH on it.

See below:

Fender trimming for 33x12.50 tires/8" rims, w/ 1" body lift and cranked torsion bars (~1" lift):

But with that much lift, you should not need to do much of anything unless you are running a very wide tire or a wheel with very little backspacing.

92 truck. 35s with no lift, NO torsion bar crank. Removed 3" of fender and pounded fire wall back. gives me large wheels with a LOW cog. hardly rubs, only at full lock, and that on the powersteering/ idler arm, not the body.
