Front Interior dome light not working

I'm currently in the process of doing just about everything to my 95 4runner and got some phillips led dome lights from amazon today thinking that my light didn't work because the bulb was bad. Turns out it was more than just the bulb.

I have checked the switch out with a multimeter and I have continuity through the "on" mode and "door" mode. (I had to flip the switch a few times to wear off some of the corrosion)

Fuse checks out as the blade arced a bit when I put it back in after checking it this morning.

Every other interior light in the vehicle works correctly. I checked the voltage coming from the plug for the switch and it read 60 mV or .06 V

Checked the dimmer and it works fine and I cranked it to high.

My next assumption is that I need to check the harness. Does anybody know what panels I need to remove to access this so I can check it?

I have the FSM but it doesn't indicate where the wires run.

Have you cleaned the socket where the bulb goes in.

Your switch was corroded no doubt the socket is also.

You checked that your new led bulbs work?? These can be a real pain sometimes .

I lean toward corroded bulb socket or the led bulbs.

You have low voltage Just where are you getting a ground that your getting that low voltage??

Does the map light work?? If it does your issue is up there under the headliner because both those lights are in the same circuit.

Now on the 94 the wire harness runs up the left door post with the connector under the head liner on the left side above the front door.

your 95 might be different !!

Pretty hard to get physical damage to that section of the harness.

The dash light dimmer switch is not in the dome light circuit you did check the correct fuse??

Bulb works, I checked it on the rear interior light.

Continuity is great through the two sockets that the bulb attaches to

I'm checking the voltage through the plug that the dome switch plugs into so I have a closed path for the electricity there.

Map lights both work flawlessly

I read some other places to check the dimmer rheostat. I didn't think it was in the same circuit but figured I would check to cover all my bases before I started tearing stuff apart.
