Three years without use ...Parked.....Back then no problem lots of pull with front wheels...Now Locked in little light says 4X4..But none in low range or high range... 1988 22re engine 148K...Oil and fluids changed only...A friend says I should have use it at lease every 6 months in 4X4...Opinions please.....Charlie

 

Take the hubs off and clean and grease them. They're probably just stuck.

 

If the problem for sure in your hubs.

In that time they could have rusted
