Hey everyone,

I have a slow leak more on the passenger side of the front of the truck. Pretty sure it's the diff seal. I've read on how to replace it and I have two questions.

One, will it be safe till Tuesday? Need to drive to work before it will get done. The majority of the diff cover seems to be wet on one side, and about two or three small drops come out a day.

Also, how can I check the fluid level to make sure everything is safe?

Not familiar with the 95, but for most differentials, you check the level by removing the filler plug and sticking a finger in. The oil should be just to the bottom of the fill hole. Unless you have the front diff engaged, I would think it is safe to drive, but checking the level and refilling as needed is pretty easy, though the fill plug can be in pretty tight. I think mine takes a 21mm socket.....and if you decide to drain the diff oil, suggest removing the fill plug before removing the drain plug.
