front diff problems

front diff problems
my front diff recently ran out of fluid which then led to it breaking some teeth off in the gears. im driving a '92 land cruiser. its my main vehicle and well my question is, is it possible to disable the front diff to turn my 4wheel drive LC into a rear wheel drive. temporally till i replace/fix the front diff.
