Hi
Got a small missfire on my 3.0 v6 forerunner which gets worse when wet. Went through lots of rain today towing and the engine kept losing power then getting it back. Could this be the leads ?
Everything seems to be tight on the air filter. Can you suggest anything ?

when i bought my truck, it felt like it would miss when it was wet/rainy out...i changed my distro cap and rotor, and it went away...i think that moisture was getting in there, i sealed it up real good with some high temp RTV sealant

ill be running around my motor pulling plugs soon and putting die electric in/on them all!

Hope you get it fixed and by the way, it's 4Runner not forerunner.

 

Also spray the O2 sensor leads under the truck.

I have the same problem out of my 91 22re when it rains at all it misses until the motor warms up and can not figure it out can anyone help has new distributor cap plugs plug wires and coil none have helped I gain all power back and miss goes away at like 3500 rpms
