Finally looking to get started...

Hello all,

I've got an 04' V6 4x4 and I'm finally bout ready to start modifying (finally after 4 yrs). After doing MUCH reading I believe I'm going to go with OME for a lift. However, I'm one of the most mechanically uninclined people you'd ever meet. I'm lucky I know what a tire is So my question is, does anyone know of any shops in the Northern VA area (preferably near Manassas, Fairfax) that would do the install? I'm eager to learn as much as I can but I just don't have the confidence to try anything like this.

First off, welcome and good job with the research you've done so far. I can't point you in the direction of a shop in your area, although I'm sure there are plenty. My advice would be for you to find someone who might be willing to help you out with the lift. Before doing my lift I reached out to a fellow YT member who had some experience. I learned a lot in the process and the lift/install went well. Many here are willing to help you out...we all like getting dirty and working on our rigs...
