Farmer dragged 4Runner with tractor... Did he do damage?
Hi, I have an '88 4Runner, V6. Engine newly rebuilt. Clutch newly rebuilt. Brakes newly rebuilt. A Farmer decided to move my truck on the property with his tractor by dragging it by the tow-hook. The 4runner was parked in gear (1st) with the parking brake on. Did he cause damage to the engine, transmission or transfer case by dragging it with his tractor? He dragged it about 300 ft. It looks like the tires did turn but are also full of dirt... you can see he dragged it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I doubt it, tires may have not liked it but if it was all dirt that will be better than pavement, if it drives fine and visibly isn’t tore up it’s probably ok.
So you just can’t say a guy dragged your 88 4Runner 300 ft without a story??
Do tell!!!!!

I was storing my truck and Axe throwing trailer on the farmer's property. I moved it outside the gate, staged to leave. Because the Axe Trailer is considered a "farm trailer" I needed a chase car. The Farmer knows this and was informed of what I was doing. I came back the next day with the chase car, to find the Axe Trailer uncoupled from the Truck. The Axe trailer was behind the gate, the truck was dragged out to the street. What was running through this goofball's head? Who knows?
