engine swap

will a chevy 4.3 v6 swap into a 95 4runner w v6? If not, whats the best engine?

What ever is your favorite Engine with a large enough budget any swap can be done.

If is is practical that is another debate .

Thing is the really strange swaps your pretty much on your own.

Best Engine has to be the Cat 3406

I think the Cat 3176B may be a but more suited, he may find fitment issues with the 3406, plus the 3176B will be mechanical so easier to fix. Bahahahaha

Ok in all seriousness look at the 3.4 swap in to your rig. Should line up with the existing motor mounts and I believe you can get harness conversions.

The 4.3 is a good motor and used to be a popular swap. However it is a more complicated swap that the Toyota 3.4 and that has plenty of power for you runner. Good mileage and great longevity.
