Hey guys, Newbie here. I have a 2000 4Runner SR5 4X4 with the 5VZE V6. She's got about 180 K miles on her and I'm planning on keeping her if/when the engine goes. I'm wondering if a newer generation V6 or V8 will fit or even one of the Lexus V6 or V8's. I'd love to have the extra power. Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!

 

anything will fit.... if you have enough fab skills and/or money. pretty sure the only thing thats goina bolt right in, is what you've got. If you really want more power out of it, consider a refresh and a supercharger. most likely cheaper than any engine swap.
