engine problems

i got a 88 toyota pickup the engine has been rebuilt and has no more than 30000 miles on it i bored it 20 over got a schnider cam in it and some many more extras done it anyway my truck has a bad skipping problem it will not drive at all it has no power it wont even go over a speed bump its backfireing out the tail pipe and out of the snorkle i have on it i replaced and checked a number of items and still cant get it to run when i press the gass it just bogs down and then when i let of it jumps the only thing i havnt checked or replaced on the truck is the timing chain it has 260k miles on it its the original timing chain and i can here it slapping around in the cover when i crank it and thats if it will even crank i have to spray starter fluid in it it if i wanna try to crank it and skips and sputters real bad thats im thinking its the timing chain should fix all the mess iv never had a problem with it before until now and it wont run at all please help me iv done dumped enough money into the truck and bout tired of dumping any more i figured id ask yall for some help thx

Wait you rebuilt your engine and re used the timing components

Do you have oil pressure??

yea i rekon my mind is about as long as my dic ha but yea everythiings fine got oil pressure
