Emergency Break Light

is showing up on the dash, even when the emergency break is off. While driving, the light will randomly come on, sometimes go away immediately, other times stay for awhile.
Any thoughts?
thank you in advance!

Check your brake fluid level.

The switch it's bad/going out. There's a little "elbow" that sticks out of your parking brake handle. That depresses the switch turNing the light off. What year is the truck?

I vote fluid check if you have the sensor in the cap. Next would be park brake switch as indicated above.

Thank you JasonYota...man i feel lame..I looked at the brake fluid container which looked full, but once i poured some fluid in, it seemed to just keep wanting more..Filled it up to the MAX line, and so far, no brake light.

Thanks guys.

Mine done the same thing after I installed my locker. I would keep a eye on the fluid level and check if your leaking fluid anywhere. Brake fluid doesn't disappear so it had to go somewhere.
