ECM question
Hello all, I have an 89 Toyota Pickup Regular Cab 22RE 5 Speed 4 wheel drive. My ECM has been getting wet for quite sometime now. I think my best bet is to move its location, and replace it. My question is what years, make, and model can I replace mine with? Are the ECM's 4wd, MT/AT, 4cyl specific? Any help, advice, and facts are much appreciated.

It's been running good most of the time, other times it I'm getting a bunch of really strange problems, like bad ground associated problems. Fixed all my grounds, then noticed water flowing over my ECM like niagara falls. So I just bondo'd all the places it looked like it was leaking through. My truck used to start up strong. Then I came home from being away for 2 weeks and my roomate was driving it around. Said it was raining a lot while I was gone. Go to start my truck and it barely starts up with a really low idle. Thats when I thought it was my grounds. Then I went to the ECM and took it out and it was full of water when I opened it up. And the other wiring harness aside from the ECM was getting soaked as well.
