When you press to activate the ECT the " power " lid up on the dash, it mean that it will hold up the speed longer until it will shift, its good when you are giong on a uphill level road but I don't really use it cause seem that it does'nt really make any diffrent or power when I'm giong on a uphill road so thats all I know about ECT.

ect= electronic controlled transmission.
Pushing this button will give your tranny more rpm's before it shifts, thus making your yota pull further in gears and go a little quicker.

ps-Your post is barely legible. I'm not great at english, but take a little more time to make it easier for others to comprehend.
peace....and welcome to the site
