Duralast crappy u-joint question

Ok I replaced a u-joint a few months ago. I have a ticking sound coming from that u-joint now. BUT, since duralast is crap they put the nipple on the side of the u-joint. I can't get the gun between the slip and flange, so how do I go about greasing it?

Did you index the joint?

Mark the original grease fittings location and match it with the new one?

Then pump more grease in it after you installed it?

If you have a ticking sound coming from the u-joint, chances are that the bearings in the u-joint are bad, especially if you have been running it dry (with out greasing it). Is it possible to unbolt the drive shaft and angle it so you can get your grease gun on the fitting ?.

I thought about unbolting it, but I figured by looking at it that if I turn it I still wouldn't be able to.

Thanks guys! So my fault, just gunna change it out with another one. And make sure I get it right this time!
