as someone pointed out, im pretty sure the shackles or hangers or whatever you call them, are longer than stock on my truck... now if i wanted to get chevy springs is this going to be a problem for me? well crap now i cant find the pictures, but the hangers in the back are like, 5 to 6 inches long. soo is that a problem if i wanted chevy springs? and what would the steps be to putting chevy springs on? thanks for your time

 

You would need to relocate the shackle hanger, as well as the spring hanger...
Chevy springs are waaaaay longer than our puny Toy springs.
I don't remember the actual measurements for the relocation, I think the spring hanger need to be moved forward like 5 or 6 inches from stock and the shackle hanger goes 3 inches back from the stock location...

one think I am sure about is someone will chime in to correct me..

The shackle hangers are the brackets on the frame where the shackles connect between the rear spring eye and the frame. The spring hangers are the brackets where the front spring eye connects to the frame.

For Chevy springs (63" long), you need to move the front hanger forward down onto the flat part of the frame and either run a longer spring shackle or move the shackle hanger back a few inches.
