So ive had all of my timing done. EVERYTHING is good. but the disbributor is from a different year and no matter if i put it all the way down it still wont hit 5 degrees. and if i skip a tooth then it puts the distributor all the way up and runs then it runs terrible. I have a 93 but the distributor i had to put in is from a 91 or earlier

So my question is.

Are the distributor housings all the same shape or was it model year specific?
