My old spindle wad damaged threads striped so I picked on up at local salvage yard already pulled when I got home and pulled my old spindle the backside looks different. Mine has 6 notches on it as well as a roller bearing type deal inside, the one I got has no roller bearing piece and the inside has like circular type grooves? Will it work??

 

First pic is old spindle. Second is the spindle I picked up. Doesnt even look the same

 

The spindle I picked u has that bronze piece with the notches on the outside where the adjustment nuts gobut no roller bearing
