I was wondering has anyone had this done? Would it be too expensive and not worth it? My dash is worst part of my truck it is brittle and I would like to replace the whole thing maybe put some speakers and other electronics. I doubt it would be a do it yourself job so I am guessing a machine shop would have to fabricate it.

 

An easier and probably less expensive method would be to fiber glass the dash you have. I think Corax on here did his and he added a gauge pod to the top of it. Looked factory from what I remember. You could also try and find a factory replacement.

Corax, where did you get your shifter boot? I tried to make one from the old one but it didn't do so well..
