crank pulley????

hey yall! im replacing my head gaskets and timing belt on my 94 v6 4runner. i took the top end apart and had the heads worked and valves done. everythings been a bit of a squeeze for me but it has not been very hard until now. i cant get the crank pulley to budge! i have used a 3/8 impact, a half inch pull handle and a whole lot of my own blood. i know i can pull the starter and lock the flywheel but that looks more involved than the rest of the job. any ideas? by the way this is my first v6 yota experience. i have read several threads on here and you all seem to know what youre talking about so i will take any and all advice!! also i have seen other people on here say to change the timing belt tensioner, is that always neccesary? thanks!

At this point, I would say that you're going to need to borrow a 1/2" impact and socket to get it loose, or resort to the starter method.

Use the starter, get a 24" breaker bar and a deep 6 point socket that fits the bolt. Put the socket and bar on the bolt, with the bar braced under the passenger side frame rail, turn the starter on for a second and the bolt should come loose. Obviously you want the ignition system disconnected before doing this.
