coolant sensor problems!

coolant sensor problems!
ok so i have a 1986 toyota pickup 22re sr5, there are two sensors on the intake, one i know is the coolant temp sender, but there is one next to it that looks exactly the same just bigger. i know its not the coolant temp gauge. it has a 2 wire plug in. any help?

Welcome to YotaTech... If you are talking about the two sensors in the manifold under the thermostat housing then the one to the left is the cold start injector timer switch. The housing at the connector I believe is brown.
