Coolant in my exhast

I just completed a motor swap on my '92 4x4 pickup. After a few minutes of idling coolant starts to leak from my exhaust manifold. My first thought is that i bought a motor with a bad head or head gasket. But am hoping i have some hoses on wrong or something. Does anyone have pics of cooling hoses on the intake side, diagrams, advice?

If the last motor had a blown head gasket, the exhaust system will have antifreeze/water trapped in it. It will burn off after a short time.
After rereading your post ,is the leak next to the head ?
