Convert a 2wd to a 4wd?

I have a 01 4runner, 2wd, i have found a tranny, and transfer out of a 99? What else other than a drive shaft would i need to complete this conversion? Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

front and rear drive shafts, linkages for shifters if auto. whole front end not sure if the 2wd fronts can take a shaft if not then u will have to replace the whole front wheel assy. also send vacuum down to actuator and get manual hubs. check cross beam to see if the 2wd and 4wd are different. you might want to see if u can just get a 4wd wrecked one and pull all parts from there

My wife's 4 runner is the exact same setup as a 4wd, all I would have to do is slap the front diff in, but it is a 2nd gen not sure about the newer ones.

Dash cluster?

Does the 2wd dash have the 4x4 indicator? I may be selling all the parts from a part out to do this swap and don't want to sell the cluster if he needs it.

Thanks.
