confused is it solenoid or complete rebuild
Hi there,
i have a 1995 4runner with transmission issues..i took it to the first transmission place and they pulled this code 42 62 they said solenoid 1 & 2 needs to be replaced for $300. Then went to 3 other places and they said the transmission is done needs complete rebuild one of them quoted me $1800 or more. When i come to a complete stop and go the transmission slips before it kicks into gear it does that sometimes. So what do you guys think i should do? If i keep driving it this way will affect other major components in the engine?
