Clutch Start Cancel Button
#48
I actually had to use mine when my clutch pedal bracket broke and i couldnt push the pedal in far enough to turn it on. I put my rig into second gear while it was off, pushed the clutch start cancel switch and drove all the way to the shop in second gear hoping not to kill it at any stops since i couldnt push the clutch in. Had the shop weld up the bracket and I didnt have to call a tow truck! The switch is pretty pointless most of the time, but it helped save me some towing fees.

...or maybe you're just not pushing the clutch in far enough to engage the clutch start switch.

I have used mine only once. I was crossing a stream and I guess I hit the water too fast...my engine stalled. She would turn over, but no spark. So there I sat in the middle of the stream. Put the truck in 1st, pushed the CSC button and turned the key. I was able to get across and out of the water by using the starter alone.
A quick hood pop, and air dry of distributor and wires, not to mention some lunch while waiting, and all was good.
ETA...94 4x4, 4cyl, extended cab
Aside from a K&N filter/intake....bone stock!
