Clutch Master Cylinder Problems

I have a 1986 toyota pickup truck 4x4 with a 22r and manual transmission. I have to replace the clutch master cylinder about every 3 weeks. I dont know what i could be doing wrong and i am fed up with it. Anyone have any idea what could be going wrong? Any help appreciated.

It might be bad parts , I have seen people replace parts multiple times before they got a good one . It could also be the need for to much force to move the clutch parts. A lack of grease on the clutch pivot or a throw out bearing binding up . I have seen this on gm trucks .

Check to make sure your clutch bracket is not broke or bent .

I have seen them that it changes the angle putting pressure on the rod that causes the o rings to be destroyed in short order.

That and poor parts.

Just what sort of failures are you having??

Is it leaking, not engaging the clutch enough,,??? I find it best to replace the master and slave cylinder at the same time even if one is still good.

Where are you getting your parts from?

Are you taking them back for a warranty exchange? I would guess you are getting them from somewhere like Autozone. If so, you will probably keep replacing it at least every year or so. The OEM brand I'd Aisin. I think it is available at Napa. You can get the part number from them and find it about half price on EBay, just watch the warranties, sometimes they will short you on warranties a bit. Like mentioned earlier, you should change the slave at the same time. If not, you probably will soon.
