Clearance-wise what magnaflow size is best?

Clearance-wise what magnaflow size is best?

So i can get a Magnaflow muffler in the 3 folloring sizes in 2''.

5x8 and 18'' long
4x9 and 20'' long
3.5x7 and 20'' long

There all 2'' center in and 2'' center out mufflers. Im not running a cat so placement isn;t really a worry, i just dont want to have to put it up and down the long way so it sticks down far.
Just wondering what you guys have had for luck on making them fit between frame and driveshaft without any clunking or rattleing when hammering on the truck. Ill be making the whole exhaust for it 100% custom, so again, just what in your opinion fits better. thanks!

I should have mentioned i want to keep a quiet tone as well, im not big on loud 4 bangers unless its a 4bt. That is the reason im staying away from the round mufflers. Id like to keep the muffler itself higher then the frame, or at least thats what im shooting for
