Check engine code 25,26,51. 89 22re pickup
hi i have a check engine light on my 89 toyota pickup 22-re. i put in the jumper wire and it gave me code 25,26 and code 51. what does all this mean? i looked up 25,26 and it said that the 25 is Air/fuel ratio LEAN
Code 26 Air/fuel ratio RICH. so i figured maybe an O2 sensor? but im puzzled on Code 51 it says the AC signal on; DL contact off (in tranny shifter with diagnostic connector jumped).. does this just mean i have it in diagnostic mode or is it another issue?
symptoms are bad gas mileage, and sometimes while pressing the gas the truck putts/bucks to the point where it shakes the whole cab. this only happens when hitting the throttle, and seems to be worse at higher speeds.
any help greatly appreciated
