Changing front axles...what all is needed?

Like some others here I recently put a 3" lift on my 2000 runner. I also did the diff drop but my cv boots still failed. Rather than mess with new boots, I bought two new axles. Never done this before but from what ive been reading on here it doesnt seem too hard. My question is what else should I replace or change while ive got everything apart. Wheel bearings? output shaft seals? I dont really know much about suspension but I put the lift on the the front and rear with out too much pain. Hopefully this will go the same. Also, do I need to drain the diff fluid? I imagine so.

Not much else changes over when the axles are pulled.
If your seals are leaking or you damamge them, you'll need to change them.
If it were me, i'd buy new lower ball joints.

Thanks for the reply. Ive been feeling stupid because in all the searching ive been doing I havent found any info on newer axles like the 2000 runners. I havent started yet. It looks like the machined part of the axle maybe goes into a bearing on the diff and im not sure but what seals it? just an o-ring or something. or is it like a seal like a crank shaft seal? and does the black cap on the wheel end of the axle just pry off?

well id say since your already replacing them, go with manual hubs i.e. convert your add to manual it will take stress off the cv's and ive heard increase your gas mpg's.
as for the diff, when was the last time the fluid was changed? i do mine about every 50-75k
