Brush Guard Question

I want to buy a Rhino brush guard that came off a wrecked 2000 Toyota 4 Runner to put on my 2000 Tacoma 4x4. The guy lives a few hours from me, so I wanted to be sure it would fit my truck before I made the trip. The front end of the vehicles look the same to me, but I e-mailed Rhino and they said it wouldn't fit. Does anyone know if it will work?

I would think they are the same. Rhino just wants to sell you a new one.
As long as the frame width is same, the rest can be adapted. They may have different spaced holes on frame?

Bumper shapes and the way it mounts are different. Look at the instructions versus the two.
I'm not saying it won't work. But they are definitely different.

I think you're right...based on the instructions. Thanks.
