Body Work Help??

So I started sanding down the bed on my 86 pickup.. I was shocked when there was no rust anywhere to be found on the body.. Even though I have frame rot?? Anyway have a couple of dimples that are high like somthing dented from the inside out.. Should I just tap them down with a light hammer and than fill what is left??

if you can get to the back side of the dent back it up with somthing like the head of another hammer and just work it back down slowly otherwise you chance makeing a bigger dent and more work to fill. good luck

Yes tap them them down gently. You can get a hammer and dolly from harbor freight for cheap or use a regular hammer and some other kind of metal shaped like a dolly. Just use light taps and it will lay down flat. Do it right and you may not need any filler at all.
