Blown Head Gasket:
I was driving my 86 runner and it started over heating. I pulled over immediately and started checking the engine to notice that the coolant resvoir cap shot off! I was able to start it again then noticed none of the pullys or belts were moving. Unfortunately I made the mistake of trying to drive it to the next exit so i could park it. My uncle checked it out for me i did a tune up, fixed the leaks, replaced the harmonic balancer and crank seal. Now it starts but the gasket is blown. Compression tested and went 80-45-45-30 or close to it. I was going to get a rebuilt head ready to bolt on off ebay bt my uncle thinks it might have a warped head/block or burnt out rings. Any helo will be much appreciated.

If your already tearing into the top end then at least throw a set of rings and bearings in it. Just make the sure the pistons are in good shape. Just take the head off and have a reputable shop check it out. the head will more then likely be reusable unless you overheated way too long. What do u mean when u say that nothing was moving after you started it back up again? If the engine is running and the belts are connected everything should be spinning. You must of broken a belt if it wasnt spinning.
