blocking plates?

blocking plates?
Im replacing a blown head gasket and want to simplify and remove a few things. I want to block off the EGR, I'm getting the blocking kit from LC Engineering.
What I want to know if its possible/ a good idea to block off the secondary air injector manifold where is comes off of the exhaust manifold?
I dont have any emissions to meet
