Bent Axle?

I noticed my Knuckle leaking so I pulled it and attempted to replace the inner axle seal, when I tried removing the Berfield it didn't want to come out I finally got it out but now it doesn't want to go back in. I'm fearing I have a bent axle or something going on in my differential? Any ideas?

I remember my longfields would not go back in as one piece and I thought the same thing. Once seperated they went in just fine hope that helps.

Axle shaft splines have to fit into the diff so try wiggling the front dshaft.
Flat spots on birfs have to be North and South to go back in.
Sometimes you just have to hold your mouth right too.

It feels like it has gone into the diff cause it hits then I have to wiggle and it starts going in, when it does it's low for some reason?

If I seperate the Berfield how hard is it to get back together there's a snap ring? I was searching on it but just curious from your own experience.

Update, issue resolved. A buddy came by and wiggled the passenger side hub back and forth while I lightly tapped on the Berf it started to go in and tadaa! Thanks to all that contributed.
