bad noise coming from front end in cant find

i have a 94 pickup 4x4 3.0 v6 5 speed it has a 3 inch lift and 33's. everytime i turn sharp it has a really loud popping/creaking sound coming from the front end. doesnt matter if the hubs are locked in or not. i checked the cv's and they seem fine. any ideas would be appreciated. thanks

try greasing the turn stops. they are in the front and back of the lower a-frame.

That would be the bumpstops if by sharply you mean to full lock. its normal. not much you can do besides grease them or spend the money on new plastic caps from the dealer. Get used to it Be proud you can scare the crap out of that biker gang when turning into a parking spot

Check out the upper ball joints, probably need grease or replaced.

It could be a loose sway bar or worn out sway bar bushings also.
