i am sure that most of you have seen the hitch covers that are a 3rd brake light, right? well i was wondering if anyone has ever seen one that would be a back up light instead of a brake light? i know that you would have to do some wiring for it to work, but i think that it would be kind of neat. i would love to have some more light when i am backing up a night but i dont want to have some lights on the back of my 4runner. i anyone has seen one or knows where to get one please let me know.

Do trailers usually have back up lights? If so, then its already in that plug, just need to tap the correct wire

 

No, trailers do not have back up lights. At least any that I have seen.

 

yeah i know that why i said that you would have to do come wiring, but i was wondering if anyone has seen one of these before. just thought that it would be nice to have the hitch cover as a backup light instead of a brake light.
