don't waste your time on dana axles I run a chevy v8 on 38" in an 83 yota with 6 inch lift and don't have an issue one at all on stock axles

So you have a V8, big deal, if you have toyota axles with that much power and torque eventually you will grenade one of your stock axles, with Dana 60`s there is no worry`s that your going to break one.

Seriously dude?? Thats either complete bs or you drive like a total . Im on 35s and a under powered 22re and i grenade a shaft about every weekend i get out....

Thats exactly my point, if your breaking birfields in the stock axle with a 22RE, i can only imagine what a V8 would do.

Or go buy some longfields/dirty 30's.

@Illinoisyota: Why not waste time with dana axles, they've been the standard in fullsize pickups for a long time.

haha, i know, longs on in the way. and seeing how i had axcess to a pile of spare axle shafts i just got real good at changing them while i saved up the dough...
