He is correct. You would use the existing IFS steering box, but with a solid axle swap, you would have to get a crossover steering kit, which comes with new arms for the steering linkage, which should also be included.

So basically I'll have to put it together with what I have and then take it apart just to install the right steering arms later? Is there some where I can buy just the arms I need or so I have to bite the bullet and buy the whole crossover steering now?

You can just order the arms from places like trail gear (and others). Then later on get the rest of the parts required to finish the steering.
