it doesnt really affect the cv's or any of that, the only thing you would need to be concerned about are the shocks and springs

The weight of the ARB compared to stock is probably about the same difference as if a man or a woman was to drive the truck (30 lbs. maybe). It definitely won't hurt the IFS at all.

My ARB hasn't had any adverse effects on my IFS. Plus it looks like a tank lol.

when you starting adding a winch is when you need to get concerned. The ARB on my '05 Tacoma weighed ~125 lbs, about 105 lbs more than the stock stuff.

x2 on specifying which truck you are referring to. 86-95? 95.5-04 Taco, '05+ Tac0 etc.

add the info to your sig (click on user CP)

my TJM was fine. but when you start adding a winch, a high lift mount, lights, and other crap, thats when you get concerned.

+1...I have an ARB bumper, driving lights and in a few weeks, a winch and high-lift jack. But I have the OME 26mm torsion bars and everything is pretty good. The OME torsions could probably hold up a house, I believe they're 4mm larger in diametre over the stock torsion bars so they're fairly stiff and capable of holding more weigh.
