Ok gang, Im finally getting somewhere with this 1995 toyota tacoma 4x4 as far is being repaired. Let me give you a little history on it. I bought it at a police auction 2 months ago for 700.00, it needed a starter, alternator, brakes, the front cv axle (drivers side) and a bunch of little mechanical work here and there. So far, I got everything fixed except the front cv axle which I will pick up today from the salvage yard. How hard is it to install the cv axle? I been looking and cant find it in the chiltons manual. Also where the heck is the fuel filter? One more thing, I cant get the truck to driver over 65 mph. Whats holding it back? It runs good and sounds like its in good running condition. Thats the only thing holding me back from using this truck off road. Any help will be usefull.

What engine is in the truck? Fuel filter location varies with engine. Also, a Factory Service Manual will have the maint. information, or the page below has nost of the front end information:

It has a 4 cyl 2.7 5 speed
