Another 3.0 idle thread...
OK, I have been searching different threads about idle issues on the 3vze and have tried a few fixes, to no avail. So far I have taken the throttle body off and cleaned it up, blew out all passages and put it back on. Played around with setting the TPS, and looked over all vacuum hoses.
My rig wants to idle back to 1900 rpm, if I lug it down it settles about 1600 rpm when I push in the clutch. What is strange is that if I shut it off and immediately restart, it runs at 900 rpm until you run the throttle up and it will go back to 1900 rpm.
I really do not understand how the system works to kick the idle up, do the vacuum lines somehow alter the idle circuit? The electric solenoid is not touching the bracket when running so I know it is not the problem. This is getting old and I do not want to just start throwing parts on hoping one of them works.
