Air Rancho 4" Lift Kit? Need some quick advice...
I found this on Craigslist... He says is an 'air lift'...
I don't want to bother putting a compressor on on my so I'm wondering if I can use parts of this system for a lift. It he looks like a pretty standard IFS lift but I'm not sure about the whole airbag thing and neither is the seller.
Bottom line... Can I use the front IFS parts to do a normal lift?
He is only asking 180 OBO for the whole thing...

i believe he put the bags inside the rear coils to help with load carrying capacity.
yes, the front part will work fine...and you can throw the coils in the rear, or buy new ones.

Oh geezus. It's not for airbags. That compressor is for the shocks. Those are RS9000 from what I can see. There should be a little manifold at the bottom side of the shock body to plug the hose into. The 9000's are manually damping shock or via airpressure with the pump.

The only other question I have is about the A-arms in the picture... Is that the ball joint mount sticking straight out the sides? How are those arms mounted, does it replace the lower or upper arm?

OMG, for really man.
1) THAT IS NOT AN A-ARM. It's called a spindle spacer, it bolts to the OEM spindle...to space it...
2) That is just a basic drop bracket lift for a coil sprung Yota(to include: spindle spacers, front crossmember and drop brackets, rear drop brackets, panhard bar bracket, lift coils and the shocks). HOWEVER, it looks like there's NO rear support crossmember. I don't know about the RANCHO kits(you might have to GOOGLE for it) to know if they came with that. I would say it's missing and would put something there.

I don't think there is a rear supporting crossmember included in the original kit, just the L brackets, similar to the Rough Country lift and a few others. My main confusion was regarding the air junction pictured because the seller knows very little about the kit.

eh no worries man.
It's a complete kit but that rear brace. With the bracket lift installed I'd think there would be more leverage spreading the rear part of the lower a-arms out causing possible alignment issues.

I looked at the kit in person, the shocks are pretty beat up. The seller knows absolutely nothing about the setup. I'm not sure if my Nitrochargers have enough travel for the coils in that kit.

Uhhhh....
That kit pictured wouldnt even work on your truck.
Your truck isn't coiled in the front, it has two control arms on both side.
While that kit is for a later model tacoma+ truck..
Save your money, this kit won't work for your truck.

Yeah, for that price it's still a good deal even if you don't use it you could always turn around and sell it.
I'd think your new shocks would be a little short. Really, what you have now will probably be better anyways, keep that COG low and its' new!!!
