Cool Which Air Filter is best with a deck plate mod?

I am fairly new to the 4Runner seen and I have a 98 SR5. I read about the Deck Plate mod and it seemed like a cheap easy way to gain a bit of pep. Which Air Filter would you recommend using in the box? Should I get a K&N? I noticed the tech form mentioned an Amsoil?

Thanks for your input!

First off: Welcome to Yotatech, its nice to see another BC member..

Second: I've done the Deckplate Mod too, haven't really noticed any power increase although it does make a neato sound.. as for air filter, I've heard a lot of crap about K&N filters, but I never had a problem with one.. most people on this forum will probably recommend either OEM or Trueflow. I'm still using my old one, I think its OEM..
