Accidently ordered a vacuumless distributor

Howdy, I just ordered a new distributor for my '84 22r pickup and it came without a vacuum advance unit, or a spot to put one. There's just a plug similar to the one that terminates on my old distributor's unit.

Can I still use this distributor? What do I do with the vacuum lines that ran to the unit?

Any help will be appreciated.

I don't if you can use it or not.
Why not return it?

Well, if I hear I can't use it or no one knows, then I will.

Sure you can use it

** but your timing will not advance**

You need one with the vacuum advance 84 was a change over year for these engines you have the old style.

Send it back

sell it if you can`t

Get the correct one.

Awesome, thanks. May just use this as an opportunity to upgrade to a DUI instead.
