? About Faded Spots.
Some thoughts,
There are several spots on the front of my truck that are starting to fade. The tops of both fenders and the cowl behind the hood are the most noticeable. Today I shopped around about getting the front half of my truck painted.. Toyota Dealer: $1K , Local Shop $800, and Maaco (well, we all know maaco). I do not have any experience painting on my own, so I am considering ruling that out.
Anyways, the main question is, what do you think is the best way to prevent further fading/rust forming on the bad areas? I try to keep a good coat of wax on it, I simply won't have the money to paint for a good long while. (College Student).. t-i-a.
