98 4runner lift help

Hey guys
Im still kinda new to the site. i have a 98 T4R, i have purchased a toytec 3" spacer in front and 891 coil in the rear. Heres my problem ive got some rake that i dont like with the lift. i think that the rake was cause by bad stock coilovers and the spacer made it worse, so i have been seacrhing everywhere and want to just re do the lift completely cause in the future i want to run 35's wiith a BL lift. so i am thinking about getting bilstein front struts with 883 coils for front and in the rear i want lc coil but i cant figure which ones to run from what ive read the 9 wraps might be my best option but honestly have know clue on how get them? also some more info on thruck currently have the 3" lift and 285/75/16, the front height is 37" it was 38" but has dropped and the rear is 39". I would like my height to be about 40" all around with just suspension and after bL i guess it would be about 42" or 43" to fit 35's?

Sonoran Steel Suggestion

To have a completely level truck I suggest the sonoran steel 7.2 lift for a 4x4 truck. Leave out the rear yellow poly spacers (they measure 10mm, which is just under .5") that come with the kit. This is the lift I have on my 4runner. You can find the lift at sonoransteel.com. Also I suggest you read Steve's FAQ about Old Man Emu lifts on his page at:

My truck has an aftermarket steel front bumper, 285/75/r16 (~33" tires), a 1.5" body lift and the Limited style fender flares (I mention the fender flares since I think it may be different if you're getting your measurements to a Limited fender flare, bare fender or other type of fender flare).

The measurements from the floor to the center of my fender flares are 39.5" on both the front and rear, perfectly level. My rear springs did settle about .75" over time. Keep in mind your floor to fender measurements also change depending on your tire/wheel's diameter. Going from the stock ~31" tire to the 285/75 (~33") tire you already increased your "height" by 1"

If you're going to run 35" tires (315/75/r16) in the future you'll need to seriously considering regearing to either 4.56 or 4.88. If you don't, you'll have a serious detriment in power and gas mileage.

Sounds like it would be best for you to get a complete kit and have it installed.

I'm in Tuscaloosa, AL and will cut you a deal on a lift kit and install.

Hey thanks for the replies guys!
I do have a limited T4R, wabbit i have looked at your work man its awesome what you have done with kregg(chris's) T4R and mine is the same truck actually just painted all finders flares like chris did and i do plane on visiting you wabbit cause after i figure out what re do of the lift im going to do i want sliders and a front ARB bumper also didnt say in the top that my truck is 2wd but i want to put all the mods i want for off road on it and after i graduate college i want me and the wabbit to SAS it or IFS it to make it 4wd. but for the moment i want to figure out the lifting part, so wabbit should i go sonoran steel lift or what else you think would work? after i graduate and make it 4wd it will be trail rig. also plane on regearing panzer thanks for the imput!

Im actually a senior in High school at the moment 18yrs old and im probably going to aubrun university and get a mechanical engineering degree and so yes the T4R will be off road very little but want the look for now and then do the SAS when i graduate from college. Hopefully this will turn out to be and awesome trail rig.
