i know the 2nd gen 4runner seats bolt right in, but do early 3rd gen seats as well?? just got my first runner to my house tonight. its an 85 with crappy front seats. have a cheap set of 96's i can get but am unsure if they will work for sure. I've "SEARCHED" like crazy HI and LOW but was unable to find anything about 3rd gen seat swaps in gen 1 runners.. please enlighten a newbie with his first yota!!! thanks to the generous ones who tell me to continue to search more n more =-)

 

Do some quick measuring from the mounting holes on both seats, that will let you know pretty quick if they will fit or not.
