We kinda need more info to help you better. What engine, what have you already tired? What maintenance was recently done etc etc.

1994 toyota stumble

i just got the truck about a week and a half ago. the guy i got it from told me that it had had lots of work done to it but he didnt have the recepts.when i got the truck home it seemed like it was doing ok but it dint have the power that my last toyota did. the next day when i toke it to work it tryed to over heat on me. i tore into it because i thought it was the thermostat and then found the timeing belt was geting bad. so now i have done the timeing belt, thermostat, air filter, spark plugs, rotor, distibuter cap, battery terminals, and im working on getting a fuel filter in it. when i pulled the fuel filter out today and looked at it, it appered that there might be water in the system. could water in the gas cause the stumble posibly? the truck has the v6 3.0 EFI in it with a 5speed manual tranny and is 4 wheel drive. oh and when i bought the truck it had the idle turned up to about 1800 RPM and when i looked it up i found that it should only be at like 800 RPM. when i got the idle turned down thats when i discovered the stumble. if you need to know anything else about it, or if you have any ideas of what i should do next let me know and i would greatly appriciate it. thanks alot.
