93 yota sas questions

I have a 93 runner i just picked up going from a yj to a runner what would be the best route to go. I dont want break the bank but alsi i know the runner is top heavy want it to be street legal but also want to wheel it and not roll it constantly would a toy axle be better or d60 front and 14 bolt rear.

Toy would be the easiest, and if you do it right it wont be top heavy (not really that bad anyway) . Head over to the solid axle swap section and see what people are doing, then decide how you want to build your truck.

The tons are are wide. Not sure of your local laws, but up here the tires tread cant be sticking out past the fender.

Its really all personal preference. Build the truck to suit your needs. And did you ever figure out what was wrong with your #3 cylinder?

I'd go with Yota Axle. ALot more easier then swapping chevy axles. Dont really need that heavy duty of a axle unless your are doing some hard core crawling. Yota axles are strong enough. Also switching to 1 tons you would have to swap new and bigger rims cause most 1 tons 16" rim minimum with 8 bolt pattern but by going with Yotas you can use the rims you have it now and save on tires too.

They wont rub. You could probably go bigger.
